Cella Energy is an ‘Advanced Materials and Technologies’ sector company with first-mover advantage in safe, low-cost hydrogen storage technology as a new source of transport fuel. Near term Cella is producing military power solutions for unmanned systems with 3x the duration of lithium-ion batteries, and radiation shielding materials for space satellites. Cella is also working to develop longer lasting power solutions for portable electronics products such as laptop computers.

Cella’s solutions are strategically important and two of the largest shareholders are US Government and UK Government agencies. Cella is located near Oxford, UK and at the NASA Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, USA.
Cella Energy Limited lead investor is Space Florida www.spaceflorida.gov. Investors also include Thomas Swan & Co Ltd. www.thomas-swan.co.uk Founded in the United Kingdom in 1926.
Shareholders also include STFC Innovations Ltd who are responsible for spin-out companies from the Science & Technology Facilities Council at Harwell Oxford, UCL Business PLC who hold shares on behalf of University College London and the Chancellor Masters and Scholars of the University of Oxford.
